Meet Our Principal
Ms. Zenaida Martinez
Chargers,
Welcome back to another exciting year at Chapel Hill Preparatory School. I hope this message finds you and your families well. As the principal, I am delighted to have all of you back in our vibrant and engaging learning environment.
First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for your continued support. Our dedicated team of educators has been working diligently over the summer to prepare engaging and meaningful learning experiences for our students. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages intellectual growth, creativity, and personal development.
Throughout the year, we will focus on a rigorous academic curriculum for our core subjects, In addition to effective instruction, we will foster a strong sense of community, where every member of our crew feels valued and empowered through the implementation of our house system. Extracurricular activities for students to explore theri interests and develop new skills will be available both during and after school. We believe that a well-rounded education shape well-rounded individuals.
I encourage you to stay actively involved in your child’s education. Together, we can create a supportive network that strengthens the school-home-community partnership. Open communication is vital, and I am always here to listen, address concerns, and collaborate on initiatives that enhance our students’ educational journey.
As we embark on this new school year, let us embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, demonstrate kindness and empathy, and encourage one another to reach new heights. With a positive attitude and strong community spirit, I am confident we will have an exceptional school year.
I look forward to working alongside you and witnessing the accomplishments and milestones of our amazing students.

It is our goal to promote the health and well-being of your student so they may be academically successful but we need your help. If your student has a serious or chronic medical condition, food allergies, or the need for medication to be administered at school, please visit the clinic and speak with the nurse.
All students must show proof of required immunizations or be in the process of completing them. If you receive a notice of non-compliance, please get your student up to date as soon as possible. Students without proper immunizations are subject to exclusion from school. You can find details about the immunization requirements here.
Consider enrolling your student in School Based Telehealth! Enrollment must be done yearly. If your student becomes ill at school with things like an ear infection, rashes, strep throat or flu, they can be seen by a medical provider at Children's Medical Center via the Telehealth monitor in the clinic. The provider can diagnose and prescribe treatment without you having to leave work and take your student to a doctor's office. If you have insurance, the cost is the same co-pay you have at any other provider. Medicaid visits are completely covered. If you do not have insurance, the maximum cost is $50, and there are discounts available. Follow this link to find our more and enroll: School Based Telehealth Enrollment
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and successful school year!

Mrs. Tran-Solis was born in Vietnam and migrated to the United States in 1997. She grew up in a low-income and high-needs community; therefore, when she decided to go into education, she wanted to serve high-needs communities. She grew up primarily in California and moved to Texas in 2016 to teach students. In her free time, she loves to read, cook and walk/play with her chipoo, Artemis. Mrs. Tran-Solis is super excited for this new year as she will be encouraging students' love of reading in the library.
